An original painting this richly colored and detailed painting searches for images of healing energies, from the spirals we find in nature and their reflections of healing in our own lives, to a tattoo of the symbol for going from chaos to clarity, to tree magic. All are being gathered to fill a medicine basket and be used for healing on many levels of self, society and others. This lush and beautiful painting of a powerful Healing Muse shows her collecting her medicines and magic to fill her Medicine Basket. She bears the marks of our societies wounding and pain on her arms and in her heart as she prepares to do her healing with us. All my paintings are the result of conversations with the beings who eventually emerge to be seen. I use their guidance to make the invisible ....visible ...giving it a reality that just thinking about it does not have.
