There are so many Broken Hearts in our world...broken over losses of all sorts, love, life, earth's health and beauty, the treatment of others..................
I decided that I wanted to speak to our hearts and the Heart Brains as talked about by the Institute of Heart Math ©....... just a little..... so created a series of smaller paintings, each with a real metal key collaged to it as part of the image and concept.

This series of 4 small paintings is done in the way of Intentional Creativity that asks the canvas and paint and brush to bring forth the answers you seek in images and colors and often words as well on the canvas. It's about giving your muse the opportunity to speak thru those things, to bring information to you. I created the paintings for this series in this way.

By creating these images to share, I hoped to create new images for our heart's intelligence and our brains to SEE . This is the reason each painting has a large, realistic eye on the heart image as well. Literally, we can create new neural pathways for our heart and brain to respond with. New images of healing to SEE, instead of the images of pain and suffering that we so often access. The new images help us HEAL. Those heart healing images allow us to believe and access.... world healing ......as a possibility, rather than living in despair

The first painting is called " Speaking to Your Heart". I believe the heart is far more than just an organ to pump our blood. It has brain-like cells, says the Heart Institute, and can sense information about 20 feet beyond us. It knows more and sooner than our brain does what is happening and what our truth is, so I honor it from this point of view.

Each painting in this series has a small metal key wired to it and a painted key hole for it to fit into, symbolizing that each painting holds a key to heart healing. This original painting is for sale as well as prints of all sorts and many other options too. Prints begin at $22.00 plus shipping. They are available in many sizes and surfaces. My Original is created with acrylic, and collage on stretched and gallery wrapped canvas. This wonderfully positive, original piece is ready to hang as it is, sized 14" x 14" .
