There are abundant Native American petroglyphs in New Mexico and throughout the Southwest. These are not far from Santa Fe. They are created by pecking away the darker surface of the rock, in this case lack volcanic rocks. I have solarized the photos to reverse the colors creating a blue image on a light background so that you can see the figures more clearly.
All of my life has been viewed through my eyes as an artist, one who SEEs on the Shamanic level. Much of my work is from images of my Interior Mindscape which I manipulate or compound from a series of my own originals. It is also from information my Spirit Guides give to me.
