Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. ORIGINAL PAINTING - Often our lives and the world challenge and we feel the need for support. My Guides gave me this short mantra which seemed to be embodied in this painting as well.
There is a Way
You are not alone
You will Find it.
Painted in layers with iridescent acrylics, this signed, original piece shimmers and shifts in the light, with the pure face suddenly appearing on the canvas completely un planned by me. Intricate, the blue green images seem to envelop and reach out at the same times with purple velvet holding the whole canvas at its top edge. It is done on 18" x 24" stretched canvas .
